Topman Suit

Guys, so far this summer I have been invited to two weddings & I have another wedding I am in during September. Today I wanted to share with you one of the suits I’ve enjoyed adding to my small collection.

For a while, I’ve looked at a patterned suit but I was always a bit nervous that I wouldn’t be able to pull off anything other than a plain colored suit. However, I took the risk and got this topman suit & boy am I glad I did. One thing I love about your own style/fashion is that you have the freedom to take chances and to make your wardrobe your own. After wearing this to one of my dearest friends wedding I knew this had become one of my favorites suits. The reason is that it’s still a classic color with the navy base and subtle brown lines. However, it still makes a statement. This suit can be worn to multiple events, weddings, & honestly, I keep thinking how great this will be for the holidays! 🙌🏽

One thing I love about Topman suits is that they fit my body type well. I have tried multiple suit brands and although they are willing to tailor and adjust my suit for me it typically calls for a ton of changes. I am 5'5 with a waist of 30 and a jacket size of 32S. I won't lie to you and say that I didn't need to make alterations to this suit. I did, however, they were minor. All I had to do was take up the pant legs because they were a bit long. Most dress pants I purchase elsewhere I have to get them taken in because they are too loose around my legs. With Topman, there are many options to get Slim, Regular, Small, Tailored & more.

One tip I would suggest for those getting clothes tailored is to not wait until the last minute. I unfortunately did but thankfully found an amazing guy in Orange County to tailor my suit the same day as I had a business meeting in CA.

I am adding additional photos & links to the suit below. If you have any question feel free to reach out to me!
