NYC | Trip Recap

During October I took a trip to New York City for my sister's birthday! It was the first time either of us had been to NYC & it was so fun!! I decided to write a NYC Trip Recap of our trip and mainly show you what we did through pictures & quick over views. I hope you enjoy!

The first night was a pretty chill night for us since our flight was delayed for over 4 hrs and made the timing of everything change schedule-wise. We didn't let that keeps us down though so we made our way to the Sugar Factory to grab a crazy, sugar-filled drink in honor of my sister's birthday + her love for the Kardashians. We stopped and grabbed some pizza as we enjoyed Time Square & all the lights at night.

Day 1:

Went to Dumb Brooklyn.
We ate at the Atrium, so delicious.
Grabbed a coffee at One Girl cookies.
Walked under The Mattahan bridge & walked to Jane's Carousel
We walked the famous Brooklyn bridge. (spent awhile taking pics)
Made our way to China town where we go Eggloo
Hopped in an Uber & went to see Ground zero.
Explored the Oculus building & checked out all the shops.
Journeyed to the Statue of liberty and we made sure to choose a route where we passed "The Charging Bull & "The Fearless girl."
Took a stop at Pier 52 for cool rooftop view & drink
Then walked the High line & ended at Think Coffee (great cold brew)

Day 2:

Woke up & met a friend for coffee and exploring.
Walked to the Met & pretended to be on GG.
Ventured through Central Park to breakfast.
Ate breakfast in a hotel overlooking Central Park.
Walked to the hotel to meet my sister & headed straight to Lunch at II Corso ( Cardio De pend, Spaghetti) so good! Italy loved it
Made our way down to the shops on Fifth Avenue for some window shopping.
Stopped by Rocker Feller Center to watch people ice skate.
Finally made it to Grand Central Station where we saw a Hunter boot pop up that we tried & then got a pastry & coffee.
Since I was up at 6:30 to see the sunrise I went back for a nap so I didn’t fall asleep for the play.
I went to Wicked later that evening which was AMAZING and I also was able to see an old friend of mine! She took me out for drinks at a rooftop bar off Time Square.
Stopped by a one dollar pizza place for a late night snack.

Day 3:

This was our last full day in NYC.
We made our way to the SOHO area for some exploring.
We stopped and grabbed lunch at Black Tap Craft Burgers which was so delicious. I was so full because when you see the picture with the milkshake you'll know why!
I stopped by O.N.S clothing which is a boutique men's store that I loved!
Grabbed an afternoon pick me up at Brooklyn Diamond coffee and of course, I got a cold brew.
The rest of the day we literally spent walking around the city making our way to the Flat Iron Building, Washington Square Park and much. We used this time to wander and get lost in the city!
Got to the Rockefeller Center where we made our way to the Top Of The Rock during sunset! Seriously it was beautiful and such an amazing experience. I encourage anyone to do it.
Grabbed a Schaller's Stube hot dog to fuel up for additional walking.
We ended our night at the Stardust Diner where people who are trying to make in on Broadway work and perform during your meal. It was so fun!

Overall, I had a WONDERFUL time in NYC and it became one of the cities on my list I could see myself living. I do plan on going back sometime soon but in the meantime, I will have these memories to hold onto. I hope you enjoyed my super brief recap. I would love to talk more about my trip so if you have any questions on things to see, to do, to eat, to try, to stay, and whatever else, let me know!

hmmm, now where to next?
