How To Add Sustainability to your Laundry Routine
This year one of my main goals was to take little steps in improving the way I impact the environment. I have been inspired by many to focus on how I can reduce my footprint on the Earth. I’ve found taking small steps by incorporating little things here & there has been most effective for me. I used to try to change so many things at once that it became difficult to balance so I would fall back into old routines. One small step I made was changing the laundry detergent I use to a more Eco-friendly laundry detergent.
I recently started using ECOS Laundry detergent & I am loving it. ECOS is one of the first brands to have a focus on sustainability in cleaning. I guess you could stay they liked it before it was cool/trending! ;) It was amazing to read that the brand has reduced their energy use, decreased their waste by over 95% all while lowering their transportation emissions.
Some high points for me with their detergent is that it smells good, cleans well, is hypoallergenic, pet friendly & made with plant-powered ingredients.
